Reminder – Candidate Forum and Endorsement Meeting Saturday

TheAssembly Candidate Forum will be Saturday, January 20th at 5 pm at Seafarers. Tilden will then have a Special  Endorsement Meeting at 6 pm immediately following the forum.

Tilden will also have a Divisional County Committee Meeting for Part C on January 20th at 4 pm to elect Officers and fill County Committee vacancies – a separate notice to county committee members was sent.

Forum and Meeting for Today Cancelled

Because of the inclement weather we are cancelling today’s Assembly Candidate Forum and Special Meeting. The Forum has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 20th at 5 pm at Seafarers. Tilden will then have an endorsement meeting at 6 pm immediately following the forum.

General Election – Tuesday, November 7, 2017 – Polls Open from 6am-9pm

Election Day is this Tuesday, November 7th.  Polls are open from 6 am to 9 pm.

Since this is not a presidential election year, turn out will not be as high and it is critical that you vote and bring a neighbor, friend, family member with you to vote as well.  To find you poll site go to www.nyc.pollsitelocator.com

1. Constitutional Convention – Vote NO, an unregulated process endangers our constitution and the protections it affords to special interests.
2. Revocation of state pensions for convicted State Officials – Vote YES, public officers who comment felonies and violate the public trust must be accountable for their actions.
3. Creation of a 250 acre land bank – Vote YES, additional forest preserves would be good for the environment and the state.
