We have several very exciting and important events this month for you to participate in. First please be sure to join us at our general membership meeting on May 19th where we will hear from our esteemed past President and Councilmember Dan Garodnick.

The independent judicial screening panel is out and so is our own May district leaders’ report.

There are only about 40 days left until the current rent laws that protect affordable housing expire! Please join other Tildenites and the Real Rent Reform (R3) Campaign in Albany. R3 has arranged for buses every week this month to bring the message directly to Albany and will be departing from various locations depending on the day. Please RSVP to realrentreform@gmail.com to go on Tuesday, May 10th, 17th or 24th or on Wednesday June 1st. Also, there is a Mother’s Day March for Stronger Rent Laws- May 8th at Noon meeting in the Sara D. Roosevelt Park at Hester Street.
