Petitions and Instructions will be available for pick up on Monday, June 6th at 7:30 pm at Seafarer’s, 123 East 15th Street.  Please let us know if you will be joining us whether for a few minutes or a couple of hours.  If you can not join us on Tuesday please call (347) 948-3367 to arrange to receive your petition at a later time.

Street Fair

The Annual Tilden Street Fair will be on June 12th from 11 am – 4 pm along Third Avenue from 23rd to 34th Streets.  Please join us at our booth while we answer questions and continue to petition.  Remember that the proceeds from the street fairs are donated to worthwhile charities that work to improve the lives of people in our community.  Recently, the Henry Street Settlement-Meals on Wheels, People’s Symphony Concerts and Auxiliary to Bellevue Hospital have been among some of the recipients of this event.

Petition Drop-off

In lieu of a regular general membership meeting on Thursday, June 23rd you may turn in your completed petitions at Sefarer’s, 123 East 15th Street.  Remember not to complete the witness portion, as we will do that together, to ensure that errors which may invalidate the petition are not made.

Thanks, you did it!

Thanks to all the Tildenites who joined Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney in supporting Kathy Hochul who won the May 24th Special Election for the seat vacated by Rep. Chris Lee, against a Republican and a tea party independent.
