Meetings Notice

There is a Special Pre-Primary meeting scheduled for Monday, September 12th, 2005 at Kenmore Hall, 145 East 23rd Street at 7:30PM. This meeting is being called for the distribution of palm cards both in your buildings and on Primary Day. This is absolutely essential for success in the Primary.

The next General Membership meeting will convene at Seafarers’ House, 123 East 15th Street, corner of Irving Place, on Monday the 26th at 7:30PM on the second floor. This change of meeting date was necessary due to the a scheduling conflict with the Judicial Convention.

Night Out Against Crime!

This year’s National Night Out Against Crime will be held on Tuesday,
August 2nd, 5 – 8 pm in the schoolyard of JHS 104, 2nd Ave. between
20th and 21 Sts. We will have a table there with voter registration
forms and candidates. Please come and bring neighbors, friends,
relatives or anyone else.

Party Roundup

Last night’s End of Petitioning party was a rousing success!

Tilden members gathered at Dan Garodnick’s home on Thursday evening to wrap-up the petition period that began on June 7th. Louise Dankberg, District Leader, estimates Tilden members had gathered over 1500 signatures. Kristin Booth Glen, candidate for Surrogate’s Court Judge, Rosie Mendez, candidate for City Council from District 2 and Scott Stringer, candidate for Manhattan Borough President, dropped by to talk about their campaigns and thank the Tilden Democratic Club for their support. Dan Garodnick gave an update on his campaign for City Council and thanked all Tilden members for their early endorsement. It was a great evening!

Please come to the General Membership Meeting this Thursday, June 23rd, 7:45 pm at Seafarers, 123 East 15th St. with any completed petitions.

Also, we will have a booth this Sunday, June 26th on the W. side of 3rd Ave. between 21st and 22nd Streets. Please join us for fun, voter registration and more petitioning.
