The NYC Board of Elections is in great need of Poll Workers. Qualifications include being a registered voter in NYC and be registered in the Democratic or Republican Party. Election Inspector salary is $200 per day plus $100 for training (you must attend training and pass the exam and work on Election Day). Interpreters earn $200 per day worked and $25 for training. The hours are 5 am until the polls are closed and results are tallied, which will be after 9 pm. Many poll sites will be consolidated this election year so you must be willing to travel within the borough for assignment to a poll site.
